Abed Ali Staff Reporter: An open budget of Tk. The first open budget was announced on Thursday (May 26, 2022) afternoon in the Union Parishad Hall room under the chairmanship of newly elected UP Chairman Sadequl Siddique Sadeq. Upazila Executive Officer Mahbub Hasan was present as the chief guest at the budget function. Speaking on the occasion were UP Secretary Rashidul Islam, UP Member Jharia Sarkar, Jonab Ali Johnny, Alamgir Hossain, Reserved Women Member Peyari Begum, Maya Rani and Jabedul Islam among others. UP Chairman Sadequl Siddique Sadeq assured that developmental activities would be carried out in the union as per the new budget announced on the occasion. Notable personalities of the area, politicians and people of different professions were present at the time.
